FDA or Environmental Health closure if hygiene standards slip

Volatile prices for oil, flour, tomatoes and other staples

05

Thin margins once delivery platform commissions are taken out

06

Marketing strategies

  1. 1Get listed on Bolt Food, Glovo and Jumia Food where they operate in your city
  2. 2Post daily specials to WhatsApp Status and Instagram at lunch and closing time
  3. 3Work with two or three micro-influencers who review local food
  4. 4Offer standing bulk orders to nearby offices, churches and schools

Fees, levies and permit requirements change. Confirm the current position with the Office of the Registrar of Companies, the Ghana Revenue Authority and your Metropolitan, Municipal or District Assembly before you spend.
